Re: Fine Words

You're welcome. If any of the other sites you visited were qlocal/southport.gb.com it was probably there. There are a lot of hijacked adverts on that site, I'd advise no one to view it on a phone. Plus it says a lot about that site that the owner would rather hawk his Facebook group than bring his w...

Re: Liverpool Post Investigation

Condolences to Callums family and friends, having lived in social housing for a large part of my life it's sadly not uncommon, it really shouldn't happen. But nothing in there was really isn't hard hitting journalism, it's just looking at who's registered against what on companies house and who's no...

I suspect your computer is already infected, substack is a very legitimate website. Less could be said about twitter though. Always recommend adblockers though.

Re: Darlington 2-0 Southport - Match Thread

Continuous improvement only comes after continuous feedback. It's the bed rock of agile environments. Survey's are just one example of getting feedback, portchat could be considered one too. But with surveys you can refine and track metrics over time, such as NPS, to know if things are going well o...

Win the last game of the season, and we'll have the most points we've had in the last decade in any league.

Re: Darlington 2-0 Southport - Match Thread

I am sorry. We don’t need to conduct a survey to know that winning games on a very regular basis and in great style (to the.point of winning promotion each season) would be minimum requirements. Let’s start planning for that now. Absolutely nothing else will do it. Continuous improvement only comes...

Re: Early Bird Discounts

At £169, it'll be the first season ticket i've bought in about 18 years.

No brainer of a price, and i doubt i'll even get to 10 or 5, but a show of intent from the board I have to support.

He looked like a 14 year old playing mens football when we had him under Foyle. Shows how experience changes a player. Plus his Dad was a legend and the first player I adored. Like many players, we saw something in a young player but didn't have the depth of squad to nurture them. His dad however w...

Re: 2023 Accounts

So if they're living off a part time wage and don't have another job why don't we call it a full time job and get them in for full time training? I'd imagine there are further costs to consider. Part time players only get paid part of the year don't they? Would full time players be paid year round?...

Re: 2023 Accounts

The wages paid to players at this level is incredible, how true it is I know, but one of our loan players is on £1000 per week allegedly, on our gates this is not sustainable is it? What the rest are on I don't know but for that sort of money we as supporters may expect better results on the pitch....

Re: Southport 2-3 Blyth - Match Thread

At many away grounds we are given a tiny corner - Hereford comes to mind. We could do that, allowing them half of the Blowick End with us using the other half. Or at the other extreme, we could just abandon segregation for most games - think Alfreton or Spennymoor. Different for big games of course...

But I'd love to see a lift/ a ramp, you've probably got the space to have a gentle gradient ramp on either side. Take some seats out the front and have elevated disabled viewing sec...

It's been waiting a long time.

But its much better than it used to be, one of the positive's of the main stand improvements was the railings etc. I remember Alan Prole having a nasty call one game.
