Brad Wade
Welcome Brad, seems to have been highly rated by Hereford before his release in January. Hopefully gives Tony some competition and at 22, has a lot of room to grow.

Re: Connor Woods
I think he clearly had potential, but in my opinion the writing has been on the wall for him for some time and I really don't see why he was seemingly so highly rated by the fanbase. Given the role he had to play for us, his inability to frequently get into any sort of dangerous position and his ter...

Re: Southport 2-1 Blyth Spartans
Interesting that we played our best football (and it was football) following the half time team talk lead by Terry McPhillips. The fact that our goals came from set pieces masks how well we actually played for the first 20-30 mins of the second half. Also of interest is the change of tone in Liam W...

Re: Q&A with Ian and Liam
If we had 46 shots on target each season, each one resulting in one goal in each of our 46 league games and didn't concede a single goal all year, therefore resulting in a league win I don't think anyone could possibly complain. Boring football is, well, boring- but that doesn't mean it can't be fun...

Josh Miles is absolutely fantastic. For a teenager, he's the best player I think I've ever seen at this level, period.

Re: Q&A with Ian and Liam
Neither Ian or Liam are full time but are dedicating a lot of time to securing the future and without knowledge of their conversations, to say they’re not actively gone looking for investment is surely speculation at best & inaccurate at worse…. There has been no advertisement outside of channe...

Re: Q&A with Ian and Liam
Well summed up by PotK and others. I'm glad both Ian and Liam were upfront and honest about the state of the Club, but both looked jaded and when answering some questions Ian gave the impression he was tired of abuse and unrealistic expectations communicated over social media though it must be said,...

Re: Southport 0-1 Hereford - Match Thread
Another question that I would be interested to hear the answer from people who having a greater knowledge of Southport, Ian and the whole state of the club. Does anyone think there’s a genuine chance we could go bust if we don’t make an investment or change something? I'd say we'd have to be extrem...

Re: Q&A with Ian and Liam
PR stunt - happened previously. To pick and choose the questions, which will transpire,is the easy way out. Why the need to supply personal details................ How would you have done it differently? Don't do it over zoom instead in person and have a open mic, and do a stream it for fans to watc...

At least the new caterers were decent, even if it did take 25 minutes to get a burger

Re: Southport 0-1 Hereford - Match Thread
Terrible in the final 3rd once again, when the only shining light in the team was a 17 year old winger it tells you all you need to know. Cue the copy and pasted interview blaming the ref and saying "we will get better". It's time to go Mr Watson!

Re: Southport v Hereford
Would be nice to have a minute's silence for Motty tomorrow. His name is synonymous with Hereford United after his commentary on their win over Newcastle in 1972 and that winning goal by Ronnie Radford . I agree, I think he's the biggest loss to English football since Brian Clough. There was Pele. ...

Re: Q&A with Ian and Liam
I'm hopeful they'll address all questions and provide answers from the Club's perspective, as no doubt they have a lot to catch up on given the lack of communication over the past few months.

Re: Buxton 1-0 Southport - Match Thread
I do think, given the fact he is rarely in attendance and will have been irritated by things such as the pyro protest at the start of the season that Ian will be looking to discontinue his role as chairman; whether he simply steps back or looks to sell the club is up for debate. He has been fantasti...

Re: Buxton 1-0 Southport - Match Thread
Same as usual looked good for the 20 minutes we played it on the deck. We looked up for it but didn’t have much attacking threat really Yes thats the problem as we cant afford a striker why not improvise and convert one of our existing players into one .Playing Connor Woods as a striker didnt work ...

Re: Lourdes Deli
Food was good for football and reasonably priced - only problem with Lourdes is there was just one of them! When crowds were above 800 and there was just one stall for both the main stand and JCS they couldn't cope (not their fault) and the queues were mental. Hoepfully new caterers have scope to s...

Re: Liverpool Senior Cup - Is it worth being in or pointless?
Last night Banbury utd had to play in the Oxfordshire senoir cup they only had 12 players including reserve keeper who played outfield and scored. It was 3-3 at full time Andy Whing forfeited the game at this point as tbey were down to 11 fit players. Its time to leave these trophies. Well it's a g...

Re: Liverpool Senior Cup - Is it worth being in or pointless?
In fairness, they're only glorified training sessions anyway. I think we normally have training on a Tuesday anyway so the County Cup matches just replace that and the players rarely over-exert themselves and often look far less able and far more lethargic than they normally do. The operating costs ...
