There was a comment on here about Chorley turning down a bidder? Did more on that appear?

Southend are up for sale now (having staved off a winding up order), be interesting to see how quickly they get sold (friend is a fan of them hence them being in my mind)

Re: Southport 2-1 Blyth Spartans

Was not there so cannot comment on the match. My only gripe is why does Josh Miles only get a few minutes each game? I cannot understand why he doesn't give him a run in the team. He is young, and while not my area, it could be to allow him to build up to the level without risk of injury. As he get...

We won. Alas this was not the result a section of our posters were hoping for. The sense of entitlement on here from some sections of our fanbase is laughable, you make my toddler look reasonable and balanced Wow! You genuinely believe that there are Port fans out there hoping we were not going to ...

So,to tell supporters and players that their is no ambition to gain promotion, and no foreseeable ambition to do so,is not the best way to get bums on seats, they are a disaster They had three choices: 1) Don't do it. Be accused of ducking the fans etc etc etc 2) Lie, say it is all grand and be acc...

So the complaints of the past week are that this would be a PR stunt, and when they are frank and honest the complaint is they didn't lie? They literally can't win with some people who apparently support this club. No wonder they look tired and jaded. Are Ian and Liam perfect? No. Are they probably ...

Re: Q&A with Ian and Liam

To be fair to Cavjj in his role on this site it was a fair injection. Old Port Chat had occasional witch hunts of users, and we should be free to air our opinions (within the parameters laid outatiund abuse etc) without recrimination on here or at the match.

Re: Southport 0-1 Hereford - Match Thread

The real issue at this level (& up to league one) is that wages are inflated by a few sugar daddy clubs and those higher up the food chain. Clubs really need to be pushing for wage caps or simply starting not to offer wages that they do. The more that do it the quicker issues will be resolved. ...
