Re: Potential players in (loan or transfer or free)
We are missing the corporate sponsorship I.e the stadium naming right. Pure were supposed to have put in £75k a year, but I guess the going rate is 25k-35k now. Even 25k a year will allow us to bring in 2-3 more players. Increasing pricing is not the way forward. Better option would be to crowd fun...

Can't see where Miles is for the second but the first is onside.
How isn't that a penalty when the keeper clattered Archer??

Re: Liam Interview 21st January
IF YOU MAKE AN EXCUSE FOR IT, YOU ARE DEFENDING THE INDEFENSIBLE. Agreed. This “debacle” isn’t just a few “disgruntled” fans upset over the style of football or the sale of a goalkeeper. Nobody should be subjected to abusive and offensive messages on social media, and especially not people who give...

99.9% in agreement with you (you lost me briefly with the Charlie stuff).
Even if there was others queuing up to take over, we’d very fortunate if any of them were better than what we already have.

Re: Southport V Alfreton - POSTPONED
For any travellers, I’d recommend downloading the Flashscore app and choosing Southport as your favourite side, if you haven’t already.
You’ll get a notification if the game is called off, although not quite as quickly as the goal notifications which come through almost before the ball’s hit the net.

Would be interesting to hear the clubs version of events but suspect they’ll just rather move on.
Disappointed that you didn’t ask him his views on pouring milk into his tea before adding water though.

Now permanent, for an undisclosed fee.
Hopefully frees up a good chunk of the wage bill to tempt Mr Carver back.

Re: Southport 1-2 AFC Fylde - Match Thread
We more than matched big budget Fylde who I suspect will finish in the top three this season, well on track to reach the football league by 2122. Lots of chances wasted by both sides in a game that either side would have felt aggrieved to have come away from with no points. The Hmani miss looks much...

Re: Peterborough Sports 2-1 Southport - Match Thread
We’ve improved our league position year on year since LW returned and on course to do the same this season, so I’m not sure why people are predicting impending doom.
But at least we can all agree that we’d have won that today if we had names on our shirts.

Re: Southport 2-1 Curzon Ashton - Match Thread
I’m sure it’s been covered a few times already. We choose to have a sponsor on the back of our shirts instead, the money from which is significantly more beneficial to the club than having names on them.
Hard to argue with that reasoning IMO.

Re: Southport 2-1 Curzon Ashton - Match Thread
As others have pointed out, this was the same referee as the Buxton game. With no real decisions to make he was actually okay in the first half, but normal service resumed in the second. Key moments for those that weren't there... We started brightly and could have had a few in the first 30 minutes....

Yamen Osawe scored Halifax’s late equaliser today vs Alty. Elliot Osbourne opened earlier in the game for Alty.
Osawe’s only other games for Halifax this season have ended 1-4, 1-5, 0-4.

Re: Curzon home
When the fixture lists for NL/ NLN/NLS came out last summer they originally gave date of fixtures as Monday 2nd but said clubs could change to Sunday 1st /Tuesday 3rd ( Tuesday is a Bank Holiday in lieu of today). Looks like most clubs chose to move to today ( nobody chose Tuesday!) but a handful s...

Well yes there’s personal preference but “a middle finger to the fans” just seemed a bit strong.
