Re: Lancashire Challenge Trophy vs Ashton Athletic

Should've beat them, did beat them, professional job well done.

Gloucester have lost 9-0 in the North West before so never say never....

Re: Scarborough Athletic 0-1 Southport - Match Thread

If Torquay and Yeovil are relegated from NL, it may reduce travel / overnight costs enough for us to afford promotion next year..... Allowing that a certain group learn to behave and stop costing the club so much money. Also worth pointing out that Gateshead and Scunthorpe are by no means down yet,...

Re: Scarborough Athletic 0-1 Southport - Match Thread

Beer, great company, trains running on time and 3 points.

Its a class away day. Top draw to effort from everyone I saw/had a pint with/spoke to. This is what it's all about - a great day all around 🟡⚫

Re: Scarborough away

For anyone travelling by train tomorrow morning, be aware TPE have already cancelled a number of services connecting Manchester, Leeds and York, so best check before you set off.

Safe travels to everyone making the trip.

Scarborough away

New ground and some great pubs by looks of things. Hopefully trains will play ball and it should be a decent trip.

Unfortunately don't expect too much on the pitch.

Re: Connor Woods

If he wants to move on, no point having a player who isn't happy, so good luck to him.

Shame he's gone to Warrington, as he could play a big part in their promotion push through the play offs and beyond.

Re: Southport 1-1 Boston - Match Thread

Blyth attendance was 552 (24 away), therefore 528 Southport fans
Boston attendance was 627 (67 away), therefore 560 Southport fans

Both attendances are unfortunately very poor and way down on our average until these games of just over 1000

Re: Southport 2-1 Blyth Spartans

Huge 3 points that - vital we stopped the rot. Hopefully a few more wins and we should be well out of danger.

That attendance however - some things speak 1000 words.

Re: Southport v Blyth

It's a must win - can't believe we're even having to think about relegation six pointers.

3 home games against sides below us in the table (plus Alfreton coming to us on a Tuesday night which they won't fancy) before our trip to Scarborough.

Re: Brackley 1-0 Southport - Match Thread

Brackley get a win - probably just deserved but Port definitely not out of it for long periods.

Best chance came from Miles which Watson(?!) cleared off the line.

4 points off the drop worries me..........

No comment - train ran on time though.
Really enjoyable pub at The Bell in Banbury - really recommend it for both Banbury and Brackley away

3Bs radio are covering tomorrow's game - but Dan's attempt at keeping Port Chat up to date will be far more entertaining

Re: Q&A with Ian and Liam

I've always been torn about artifical pitches for various reasons, but I'm really coming round to the idea of them being rolled out more widely. One of my big concerns was always losing a "traditional" feel to football grounds, as an artificial pitch may seem to make it have more of a trai...
