I remember an awful 0-0 against Telford that was moved forward for an England game - think it might have been the day Beckham scored that free-kick against Greece.

Better set the alarm clock ⏰
I went to that Eastleigh game with some bloke called Noel - whatever happened to him?

Main stand ticket sales look strong. Should be a decent crowd.

I'm sorry PA team but the music is just too loud. No need.

In the space of literally two minutes today one person told me the tannoy was too quiet and another told me it was too loud.

By my reckoning, there are 7 individuals who have told the club in the past 15 years that we were severely limited by being unable to control the volume of individual stands. What is loud in the stand is still quiet in the JC.

Given the cost to fix this problem, ie by replacing the amp, the best time to have fixed it would have been during the stand renovation a few years ago.

Unfortunately, Phil refused to listen to the people who had worked there for years and only served to service the ego of him and a select few others. The amp was replaced like for like and instead we spaffed a million quid up the wall on yellow seats. The jobs that actually needed doing around the ground didn’t get done.

I would say send your complaint to Phil Hodgkinson c/o Pure Legal, Princes Parade, but of course they’re not there anymore as they went bust.

No issue with Falkland Yellow’s post by the way, just wanted to highlight how some responsible for current problems got an absolutely free pass.

Whether it was too loud in the stand or not, apart from the John Cena music I thought the selection was excellent today. Children of the Revolution is a great tune :D.
And on the 6th day, God created Jim Bentley.

It was too loud though today. Nearly blasted their fans back to Scarborough....
However the last minute or so of the game made up for any other issues...

It wasn't too loud in the JCS and when we made a sub in the second half, Nic was that quiet it was barely audible.

As cavjj says the setup means you can't have optimum volume in both stands.

Maybe as a compromise the music is kept at this level pre-match when you're trying to build an atmosphere and motivation, but lower it at HT when no one is listening and everyone is chatting or getting food and drink anyway.
