AFC Telford Utd (a)

AFC Telford United 1-0 Southport

Port score 4 times, but all are disallowed for offside before a last minute pen gives Telford the 3 points.

Att. 1,301 (54 away)
As I said, it is what it is. And what it is is a southern softie wind up merchant

AFC Telford 1-0 Southport

Att: 982 (61 away)

They have improved recently and we can't score goals. Second consecutive defeat against the bottom two leading to a Port Chat meltdown and resigned acceptance that the play-offs are a dream. Nothing like a bit of optimism.

Heads up for anyone heading to this game, if your travelling on the WCML with Avanti, expect a heavily disrupted journey due to staff shortages

You're likely right with what you say, also 3 more difficult looking away fixtures to follow, who arranges 5 away in a row.....hope fully we don't lose the lot but you wouldn't be surprised if we did....time to throw caution to the wind let McPhillips take over for the rest of the season, give Watson a break...

Avanti really are battling with TPE and Northern for the "couldn't run a bath" trophy.

The "5 in a row" away from home is because the 3 Tuesday matches are all rearranged matches from December. Bizarrely, we could have played Hereford before Christmas if they had stuck to the Tuesday instead of bringing it forward to the Saturday. The were not scheduled that way by the league.

Sadly, not able to get to this one, so the officials will be spared my inevitable rant.
Goalless, or a goal fest, just to spite me for my absence.

We make it season win number 11 with a 1-0 46th minute victory Jordan is temporarily dazzled by the setting sun and accidentally gets his header on target the Telford keeper is already on his way off for half time and the linesman is frantically searching for his flag the ref is busy agreeing with Liams opinion of him and promising to be impartial for the rest of the game [If only] . Home form is slightly better than away but we can win this one Telford 0 Southport 3 Archer 2 and Woods to score and a clean sheet for Tony ,MOM on his return Keenan. Yellows!!!!!!!!!!!

Keenan will be a huge asset, and will allow Oliver to move into the midfield which in turn allows Bainbridge a more free role, which allows him to get on the end of more attacking moves. We *should* win this on paper as despite their current form and surprisingly strong squad, Telford are even more rubbish than Blyth.

Southport 2-1 AFC Telford
Bainbridge (2) - Allen (why not 😂)
"I have a bad feeling about this" - Han Solo, c.1977

Will we get 6 points for winning 1-0 and winning 3-0?

Thought the IF ONLY would give it away first result is a humorous? interpretation of what wont happen and second result is my prediction for us getting 3 points from the game , thought everyone would realise that.

I thought you'd realise my suggestion of getting 6 points from 1 game was also humorous.
