I think they'll sell well amongst the "fairly regulars," who know they'll be coming to games but not enough to justify a season ticket. Those with very little engagment aren't going to commit to an upfront package - those who turn up when we're doing well, or for a boxing day or new years game.
The pricing is great for anyone who's already a supporter, not so great for the casual attendee and surely it's those who we need to convert.
We are the nutters, we come from the sea.
We must be nutters to watch SFC.

I agree, but the way things on the pitch have been recently we might be trying to stop semi-regular supporters become those once or twice a season supporters.

"A lovely place to live", only someone who has never lived in, or been to Slough would say such an outlandish thing.

Totally agree a lot of older people will not have the tech or even want to pay in advance. I certainly will not purchase a ticket in advance, as there is always a good chance that I will arrive at Bath station to find the trains are either running late or cancelled, which means getting to Southport is not possible and therefore I would have paid for nothing.

Buy a 5 game flexible ticket? Then if trains are off, you are fine missing out!

There are 3 trains leaving Bath Spa between 8 and 10am on a Saturday that will get you to the game. Suggest you need to build a bit of contingency into your away day plans by aiming to catch the 8.07am train!

David_1276 wrote: Sun Jun 04, 2023 3:57 pm I think a £1 increase across all on-the-day adult tickets, with no benefit to purchasing on the website, would've been the best idea. It adds value to a season ticket because they froze the price of one as well as not deterring people from just turning up at 5 to 3 with a £20 note in their pocket.
They have put the prices up, you get a "discount" if you buy in advance.
Also, you don't need to buy a ticket 24 hours in advance, you can buy on the day, but it will cost you more. Plenty other NLN clubs have this pricing arrangement, although some may well still accept cash on the day.

As David Brent once said ‘my world does not end with these four walls. Slough’s s big place. When I’ve finished with Slough, there’s Reading, Aldershot, Bracknell, Didcot, Yateley. You know Winnersh. Taplow. Because I am my own boss. Burghfield’
Actually it sounds like a NLN fixture list…..

I’m guessing not as both playoff matches were online/phone ticket only so their fans are used to using the system.

Olà. Can I suggest that, if you are willing to travel as far as Didcot from Slough, stay on the train and carry on to Chippenham, or even better travel another 11 minutes west and alight at beautiful Bath. You will be given a warm welcome by the 3 SFC fans (at least 3, there may be more "closet fans).😉
