Where is the logic in playing a semi final in a tinpot competition like this at a neutral ground where the pitch is already like a ploughed field?

Unfortunately, I have some paint to watch dry that evening.
As I said, it is what it is. And what it is is a southern softie wind up merchant

Leyland looks like Wembley compared with Chorley.🚜

Is this semi-final football or mud wrestling?

It's a shame really, I'd normally be looking forward to a game against Bamber Bridge but all I see here is the potential for injuries and another needless fixture on a bog on a Tuesday night. They're a good team and if they care about it one iota they'll beat us but there's no point getting excited for what is, again, essentially another dead rubber.

Plastic pitch, but new - not a bad little ground for that level. Nice new bar area.

Another bizarre decision albeit on a plastic pitch on which Port have gained mainly positive results this season bar the Morpeth & Tamworth defeats. Gate will be even lower now ..it should either be at leyland as nearer for both clubs or at one of the sides .

No mention of prices on the club website, other than 7.30 kick off.
No issues with pitch as it is artificial.

Chance for the likes of Dec Evans, Harry Flowers and Will Russ to get some game time as the Scunthorpe boys will not be available on Easter Monday and no word if Festus Arthur's loan has been extended.

Tony Mac in goal will bring the average age up.
