Because they've passed their ground inspection (whether this was fair or not is down to the FA not me to decide), they stayed up on merit and weren't demoted due to their ground and I don't have to go to Kettering next season

Not sure how to put photos on here but I've seen three photos on twitter of brand new turnstiles, new cover and new terracing with barriers. Looks like they've worked their socks off to stay up.

I see City 6 or 7 games a season they are very good snd better than anything ive seen in NLN.

Be interesting to see which side draws the short straw of joining the NLN - Bishops Stortford seems to be on most people's projections

Only a great game for Oxford City fans. For the rest of us it was a totally one sided match we've seen in a long time, a complete non- event. Embarrassing for poor St Albans who only finished 3 points below Oxford City so presumably are usually of a similar standard to them but froze today.

Bishops Stortford is north of Oxford but south of Brackley. Almost level with that great northern strong-hold Luton!

In fairness, the standard of the NLS is significantly worse than that of the NLN generally.

I would expect to see a return of Chorley over the festive period as well looking at the league - seems to split up quite well into 12 pairs this year for that (outside chance of Warrington or Chester though I suppose), but thankfully it looks like we've finally got rid of Curzon on those dates
