When BS play a game at their "new home" the donor club would be playing away, so the coaches are for their fans to travel to their away game. This would ensure a good away following for the donor club. By allowing the donor clubs fans very cheap entry to BS's "home" games would increase gates because quite a few people who wouldn't travel (regardless of the cheap travel) will think, I can still go and watch a game for a few quid, without having to travel, so will go and watch BS.
Ah i get it now, though i think it's bonkers.
Several pints might convince me though and i expect you to provide transport to and from Bath for me. :D
We are the nutters, we come from the sea.
We must be nutters to watch SFC.

Of course I am bonkers, I have been a Port fan for 50+ years,, nobody could argue against that sort of damning evidence but I believe in compromise..... how about meeting me half way. Tamworth on a sunny saturday afternoon?😜

Are there anymore developments with the investor that had been touted?

lj it has been quiet on that front, just have to hope that the scenario the club's spoken of materialises and more funds are available.

Another striker, maybe two functioning strikers needed, JA finished the season with a bad injury, will he be fit for pre-season?

As mentioned by others, midfield could definitely use some power and experience too, think the defence is good enough.

I think an experienced defender is needed too. A good organiser and leader on the pitch. That could come from midfield, but often better from the back.

Details for the season have been announced:

Fixture release: Wednesday 5th July 2023 @ 13.00
Opening day: Saturday 5th August 2023
Final day: Saturday 20th April 2024
Play offs in the following two weeks

From a quick calculation, I believe it will be a minimum of 9 midweek night matches - unless we get knocked out of the cup/trophy early and can rearrange one.
As I said, it is what it is

How have they managed to lop a week off the season? 46 games was madness anyway without squeezing it into an even shorter period. Glad we've at least binned off one of the county cups, which should make things easier.

Wonder which county cup we sacked off.

Given we won Lancs you would think we would participate to defend trophy.

But then again I think the quality and competitiveness is stronger in the Scouse version.

Re Bishops Stortford - I see that researchers at Sheffield Hallam argue that the North-South divide is based on whether Pret or Greggs dominate. Have the FA checked this out?

Bishop's Stortford has one Greggs and one Pret. Not sure how they can claim to be southern in that case.

You know how certain commodities travel the length & breadth of the country, why buy a club in north west England, means you have access to ? I’m ever the grim reaper, the whole thing seems dodgy, sorry for being a conspiracy theorist Ronnie, got too much time on my hands
