Cracking goal and an assist for the second. Played in midfield and was a class above, when he got involved....

This is quite unbelievable…Accrington Stanley somehow are 2 leagues (through continual good chairmanship/management ) above Southport and doing ok in their league.This. Guy had done a great job there and did at HaiG Avenue until Charlie Clapham did not nail him down to a contract which was the beginning of the end of our conference tenure and the disastrous period since

Could be good news for us if their new manager has a turn out of players. I think there is a year left for Shaun Whally at our level and he would make a useful addition to our squad.

Not a former player, but Steve Dewsnip has joined Stalybridge Celtic as their commercial director. One of a few thoroughly decent people we've had at the Club in recent times, I hope he's successful in his endeavours.

In the Telegraph it says Raya honed his athleticism’on the beaches of Catalonia and in the gyms of Blackburn Rovers, Southport and Brentford’ 🤣 Which gym would that be?

The outdoor gym's that can be seen on the local parks. He was a regular at Crossens Recreation Ground.

Saw Mark Halstead play in Torquay's 4-1 defeat away at Tonbridge Angels this afternoon.

Lobbed for one as well - the gulls are threatening with the drop thanks to their 10 point deduction

Jason Gilchrist scored both goals for Ashton United today in their 2-0 home win versus Gainsborough Trinity.

Enoch Lusiama scored for Atherton Collieries but still ended up on the losing side, losing 1-2 to FC United.
