Not about former player but about former Chief Executive!!🤣🙈
Oldham Athletic Managing Director Natalie Atkinson has left the club.
Sources close to the club have informed the Chronicle that Ms Atkinson, who joined the Boundary Park outfit in June, 2019, had been "relieved of her duties" in a surprise move by Latics owner Abdallah Lemsagam.

Oldham fans are surprised by this, they seemed impressed by her, less impressed by their owner.

Hope Morgan does well here, at first he looked a decent prospect but by the end he looked clueless , crossing was poor and he couldn’t beat a man just content to take easy option to pass backwards . Cockerline is there as well now I think, so they’ve got the dream partnership NOT methinks

Rather harsh to revel in somebody losing their job, poor form from our club secretary for posting a sarcastic tweet clearly directed at her. Remember, one of the board members who she was carrying out the will of is still at SFC and one former board member from that time still has a strong influence. People have short memories when it suits.

I have no idea what goes on inside the organisation, and whether she deserves sarcastic tweets or not, but I wrote several times to her and her staff about an important administrative matter and I never got a response. James replies almost instantly.

David Raya is attracting interest from Arsenal, who have already had a £10M bid rejected, according to a Brentford source.

Raya is keen for the move and his agent has apparently said Raya will hand in a transfer request if he’s not allowed to move

I suppose it comes down to whether David wants guaranteed first team football near the top of the Championship or prefers to be a sub at Arsenal. There’s the advantage of Arsenal goalkeeper coach knowing him from Brentford but he’d still struggle to get past both Leno (who’s still thought to be number 1) & Martinez (who finished the season very well) for this season at least.

Have since read that Villa are interested in buying Martinez for £20 million so maybe there’s something in all this....
