The Scottish Championship is ranked 171st in the world based on league rankings with The National League Premier (league above) being ranked 189th, so taking any form of opinion out, this is certainly an upwards move for him.

In my opinion, that's more than deserved - I'd have been dissapointed for us and him if he'd ended up back on loan at a club in our league or below. Good luck to him.

A downwards move then.
A full time club who regularly pull in gates 4-5 times that of our own is a downwards move?!
Only on loan.

Standard in that division is League One / League 2.

While the subject is on former loan players I note Tom Costello has joined Galway United, newly promoted to League of Ireland Premier, looks a permanent move. I thought he didn't get the opportunities he might have done at Haig Avenue, sort of arrived between managers.

Just watched Mark Halstead play in Torquay's 3-2 defeat away at Maidstone United.

I'd have IBR back in a shot - don't think he got a fair crack first time round. Connor Woods? No doubt that the talent is there, but maddeningly inconsistent. At least our right flank can now be called consistent ....

Couldn't believe that's him in the photo... only 31 apparently.

One game wonders Frank Mulhearn and Dom McHale on the losing side for Scarborough Athletic in their 1-0 home defeat to Southport.

I do remember that Danny Hattersley was born in the IOM. I have no idea who Dom McHale is.

I think he may have played in that scratch side against Solihull before the Tranmere cup game. Has gone on to be a decent player at this level.

McHale did indeed play in that game. 18 transfers in six years is quite an achievement.
