Didn't CC and Liam concoct a deal for players that saved Burscough going under but brought us a stack of useful players?

We were in a better position to negotiate a bigger fee i think, Burscough got a decent sell on fee i imagine.

May be wrong but did hear we tried to do the same with George Donnelly before he went to Plymouth also but it didnt come to fruition.

Noone went on to have a great career in the football league and overseas, Donnelly struggled to make an impact higher up and drifted back down the leagues, even becomming a Port player for a short stint under Coleman i think before he's career peetered out at Nw Counties level where he started.
