Re: Marcus Carver
By the looks of things, Scunthorpe seem to have already signed his replacement on a permanent... hopefully he'll do just well enough so that we can sign him on a free next Summer, but not too well so Scunthorpe don't want him back
.

A goal a game rather than 2 per game then?!David_1276 wrote: ↑Thu Sep 22, 2022 8:18 pm By the looks of things, Scunthorpe seem to have already signed his replacement on a permanent... hopefully he'll do just well enough so that we can sign him on a free next Summer, but not too well so Scunthorpe don't want him back.

Re: Marcus Carver
Good news but a word of caution with Scunthorpe reporting " He has since missed the past fortnight with a recurring quad strain injury. He is looking to get back to full fitness during his time in Merseyside."
Re: Marcus Carver
Probably will come off the bench, certainly won't get 90 mins straight away.
Just need to sort out the goalkeeper issues and the leaky defence.

Re: Marcus Carver
I hope it works out, but it’s rather sad for Marcus to be back here having failed to make an impact higher up. The fact he has an injury doesn’t sound too good either.
Liam shouldn’t stop looking for players to strengthen the squad.

Perhaps he's been signed to be an unused Substitute?Sandgrounder SE wrote: ↑Fri Sep 23, 2022 8:02 am I hope it works out, but it’s rather sad for Marcus to be back here having failed to make an impact higher up. The fact he has an injury doesn’t sound too good either.

Welcome back Marcus.
A fantastic signing. Well done to all at the club for making it happen.
As mentioned above though, don't stop looking there. The squad is massively weak still and we need re-enforcements.
