Sounds like we are holding our own.

Banbury beating Coalville 2-0 in the Trophy, so we probably won't have a game a week on Saturday. Running out of Tuesdays now.

Pretty boring start to the game, archer should have scored. Darlington have all the possession and for now the game is swinging their.

Tony drives me insane with his slow approach to goal kicks. He will never change!

Every keeper does it. They'll be under instruction to waste time. Same with every corner and throw in.
Can't really contemplate price increases when we get less actual football for our money.

I think it annoys me especially when we are drawing or losing, we are simply wasting time which could actually be useful. The price increase and less football comment did really make me laugh.

It's the slow trudge from the opposite side of the pitch to take a throw in that really gets me. How about the nearest player taking the throw in before the opposition defence has time to get organised instead?

5th & 6th officials behind goals with cattle prods :o ...... Much stricter rules for time allowed to take goal kicks, no keeper will risk getting a red card if he has already been booked, so a 10 second time limit from placing the ball and a booking for delaying placing the ball, simple !

I think we'd have taken a point beforehand so decent result on paper. Be interested to hear from anyone there if we deserved more.

I would say a point is a fair result.

An away clean sheet against the leagues top scorers is heartening. Would certainly have taken that at KO.

Just stop the watch whenever the ball isn't in play so we get 90 minutes actual football. Players will soon get fed up of being on the pitch for 3 hours.

It's a strong point on the road that. They had the better chances and Tony Mac had a good game to keep them out, but we had chances of our own. Taking 4 points of Darlo this season is a great return - just a shame we can't be as consistent against others.

Strong point. Crap ground, crap pitch and crap weather. Had a couple of good chances ourselves but point was fair. Tony Mac was probably our MOTM. Hmami went off injured.

First half an hour was very scrappy, basically 2-touch football with little quality from either side. Towards the end of the half Darlo got the ball down on the deck and we were hanging on a bit for half time. We two chances of note, one where the keeper blocked well from Archer on the left edge of the area, and another where C. Doyle headed wide when unmarked. Their best chance was a shot lashed wide from just inside the box in a position where they really should have hit the target.

Second half Darlo continued like they finished the first, and it took us a long time to come to terms with playing into the ever strengthening wind. Tony Mac made a string of solid saves and calmly claimed numerous balls into the box. Darlo also wasted a couple of good opportunities, including putting one narrowly over the bar late on. They also seemed to have a habit of falling to the floor when under any pressure, and the referee fell for it most times.

It was one of those games where we will say we deserved a point, and Darlington will feel they should have had all 3 points. Tony Mac MOTM for me, barring one early fumble of the ball his handling and sweeping up was faultless.
