Re: Farsley - Wed

I guess that would mean as you're from District 12, sorry Tier 3, you can't enjoy Tier 2 football.

Re: Fans at Sporting events. Up to 2000 in Tier 2

I still think it's unfair that we can have 2,000 fans in but Chorley down the road can't have any. But hey, life's unfair, I shan't be moaning if the league agrees to this. Not technically correct - it is min 2k, or 50% capacity or ground safety authority level for social distancing. I think we are...

Re: Gateshead V Southport - Match Thread

Rather humoursly, some gateshead fans were calling for their managers head last week. After yesterday they're more on side.

Funny old game.

Re: Bradford (Park Avenue) 0-2 Southport - Match Thread

One thing im happy with is that we're playing.

I dont know how much of an issue fixture congestion is, but we're playing competitive matches frequently. I wouldn't want to be a team that goes two weeks between games.

Re: Bradford (Park Avenue) 0-2 Southport - Match Thread

I agree but the quotes like ‘season over’ that Sam chose (I assume intentionally) aren’t criticism of the one game. All those quotes were from the Spennymoor game alone, i don't think it's a stretch to suggest they were criticisms of that one performance, pretty sure it was only 1-0 when the season...

Re: Bradford (Park Avenue) 0-2 Southport - Match Thread

Season over. It's time for Watson to say it was what it was. Goals are just predictable. Anyone expecting Mr Watson to take responsibility for anything are sadly deluded, this shambles will continue indefinitely. This indicates we are mid table mediocrity once again. Some things need changing asap. W...

Re: Southport 2-3 York City - Match Thread

While it appears the issues are most likely with with system overload and in many respects that is the providers responsibility for not doing effective volume and performance testing, it is always a clients responsibility to accept any system development and therefore, the client’s (in this case yo...

Re: Southport 0-1 York City - Match Thread

some of the issues being experienced only become apparent when a large number of people are tuning in (which is something very difficult to check for when testing) But not for the streaming company. The whole point of cloud and micro services is it's ability to react quickly and at scale. The suppl...

Ignore the BBC their useless we are classed as an elite club so all games set to go ahead. The BBC had our match last night as postponed. No idea who works for the beeb but it’s incompetence of the highest level I'd hardly call it incompetence, i doubt I was the only one who wondered if our games w...

Re: Blyth Spartans 0-1 Southport - Match Thread

Why is the right footed Anson playing on the left and the left footed Ali playing on the right? That’s always been a Liam thing and I recall asking him about it at a Q&A session once. Its basically that cutting inside on onto your favoured foot opens up 2/3’s of the pitch to pass into whereas i...
