Re: Season declared null and void
19 NLN/S clubs have written to NL stating that they want to continue.
Also Kings Lynn say that they will play their next 2 matches but unless something happens, it will be their final week.
Everything is just a chaotic shambles.

Re: Season declared null and void
Unsurprisingly I suppose, Dorking Wanderers ( top of NLS) and Gloucester City ( top of NLN ) have both said they'd taken legal action about the curtailment of the season.

Re: What can supporters do to help?
To be brutally honest, at the moment the fate of non league football clubs is pretty low on the Govt's agenda. Sure, some individual MPs might well care about votes to send constituents a sympathetic reply but that's as far as it will get. Maybe the Wealdstone fans should write to their own MP Bori...

Re: National League up the anti
I'd not care about idiots on social media. In fact, I'd say at least someone credits the club with 7 supporters - usually those prats say "both their supporters"!

Re: All matches off
Seeing as Kettering have issued a statement saying that they won't play until they either get a grant or fans back and Curzon Ashton were refusing to play last night, that should take Saturday and Tuesday's fixtures out of Southport's hands.

Rather a long thread but well worth a read. Basically Dulwich Hamlet have gone through the NL rule book and found that every option available to them is against the rules.

Re: Brackley away Tuesday ?????
I'd imagine the match is in serious doubt anyway. Temperatures in Brackley forecast to be below freezing from now until after Tuesday evening. Admittedly I live 60 miles south of Brackley but it's been freezing cold here all day and our garden is currently frozen solid.

Aldershot v Chesterfield called off at about 2.15pm due to a Chesterfield player having Covid symptoms and having to take a test.

Re: Southport v Torquay FA Trophy
There seems to be a great deal of bitterness and animosity being directed at Torquay. I am no fan of Torquay but really, is it necessary to get so uptight about this match? Almost makes me wish that Halifax had won in the last round!

Re: Carry on football!
My daughter works in EN10 but doesn't live there. She's tried but is unable to get a test in EN10 because they are only available to those with proof of an EN10 address. So the same will presumably apply to Southport players, only if they actually live in PR9 will they be able to get a test. In any ...

Re: Carry on football!
Merse, You are top of NL and unless the NL stops ( which I doubt) then after this season you'll probably be in L2 and not have to concern yourself with the opinions of a few NLN fans about a tournament you'll be hoping to never participate in again. Until then, just accept that there are far worse t...
