Re: Season declared null and void
Good decision to null and void. With regard season tickets it has to reflect individuals economic circumstances. I'm still employed and paid season ticket so its money spent that I dont expect back and the club need the revenue. I recognise others may not have that capacity, particularly if made une...

Sad not to have football until at least August but the right decision at this time.

Re: National League up the anti
If they should want to, the FA could intervene now. It’s bringing the game into disrepute. They don’t have to wait for the formalities. The guy who now runs the national league worked in the judicial team at the FA for much of his career previously. They must know each other pretty well already..

If all the clubs do this they'll have no one available on the admin side to answer all the charges levelled at them!!becbee wrote: ↑Sun Feb 14, 2021 8:06 am http://www.doverathletic.com/news/club-statement-11/

Re: All matches off
We've all said for years about people involved who run these leagues not being in touch with what's happening at grass roots-well for me here is your proof...There's no empathy or indeed sympathy with clubs-just a hard fast "these are the rules" take it or leave it attitude which stinks. ...

Re: All matches off
I see a few clubs have already got around the potential sanctions by having an early pitch inspection and calling off the games early. I expect an announcement at 9am from the club to say following a pitch inspection by a local referee, the pitch is frozen and based on a forecast will not be fit fo...

Re: All matches off
Arguably slightly of topic. I’m all for transparency from SFC - which I must say at times is absolutely great to see, however a recent tweet or maybe tweets in particular the one with the wording “The gift that keeps on giving!‘’ ~ doesn’t seem particularly professional, and seems to have been shar...

Re: Liam Watson post match
All the people at Fylde and other clubs that want the season to continue should be given a tour of the intensive care units of their local hospitals (preferrably without any PPE). Maybe that would open their eyes, or possibly kill off any objection to the termination of the season. I'm not surprise...

Re: Brackley away Tuesday ?????
Interesting that the BBC results page show last night’s game as being postponed - other rather than postponed - frozen pitch? Don’t want the NLN thinking we refused to play 😉 ....shame we improved the drainage on our pitch. Acts of weather postponing games would be so much easier to halt the season..
