Re: James Tedford gone

James has been instrumental in keeping the club functioning, this is a major loss - he’s been a terrific asset , I’m sorry but I wish it had been the football management team which had gone instead of him. I’m gutted but am delighted because he’s truly earned the right to progress his career upward...

Re: Season declared null and void

Watch for Gloucester, Fylde and possibly York appeal this possibly to court? Alex Petheram Gloucester Co-owner made some interesting comments on Gloucestershire Live 3 days ago.
He’s definitely the sort along with Eamonn McGurk to have a go this might not be over just yet?

Re: What can supporters do to help?

Neil I’m sure we used to sing from the banks of the River Ribble to the shores of Fine Janes brook? I think letters or emails to local sports journalists, MP, and directly at the invisible man Brian Barwick. I think the NL have been frankly appalling during this debacle! They have said virtually not...

Re: All matches off

Seeing as Kettering have issued a statement saying that they won't play until they either get a grant or fans back and Curzon Ashton were refusing to play last night, that should take Saturday and Tuesday's fixtures out of Southport's hands. Sadly the league in its “wisdom” is being the Poppies in ...

It’s unlikely frost forecast tonight, Blyth are refusing to play Bradford tomorrow until funding is clarified and others are considering doing the same.

Re: Carry on football!

On Chorley arrogance I remember the season Burscough played Sheffield United in the FA cup 1979 Chorley played Burscough in the 2nd qualifying round. Their manager said in the press Burscough weren’t good enough to play them and it would be easy. The Burscough manager George Rooney said very little ...
