Re: Southport 0-2 Spennymoor - Match Thread

Headline on the BBC News Page “Port in ‘chaos’ as Brexit and Christmas looms”. Not looking good with ( It Is what it is ) in Charge . As for any coaching of the team over the past year or two It seems a waste of time same mistakes are repeated. :o There is a danger we could end up nearer the bottom...

Re: Kettering 0-1 Southport - Match Thread

Well done - not a classic game - but 3 points hard earned. On a separate topic the BBC website shows all National League North games postponed for the next month. I was aware that all grass roots sports were on hold for a month during lockdown, but I had thought (maybe mistakenly) that NLN games wo...

Re: Southport 0-1 Boston - Match Thread

What was so depressing was that the result was obvious from the moment their goal went in. We were unable to change anything, just repeatedly doing the same thing in the hope that we might get lucky somehow. We saw this time and again in the last two seasons. It Is what it is No Plan on how to win ...

Re: What Is Southport Conservative MP Doing About This Issue ?

We could ask our Tory mp to officially open it while he drops off the 20 million quid for national league clubs. I have had a reply from our MP Damien Moore who is asking one of his case worker to contact me . I have replied asking him to contact Southport FC himself directly and discuss the matter...

There are I think more people at Burscough Car Boot on a dry sunny Sunday then there are at Haig Ave most weeks . 99% of the people at the boot have face masks on and as you drive in and pay they gun everyone for high temperature readings . Just saying Food For Thought. ;)
