Re: Pride

I think it should include a tour or view of the Stadium it might persuade a few new supporters to support the place that could have helped to save their lives.

Re: Liam Watson post match

We must have made some money out of the game with probably over 1000 paying for the stream.
And made a loss if we didn’t play as wages would still have to be paid.

Re: Match Thread - Southport V Big Professional Torquay

This is the best we’ve played for ages- if we go on to lose we have done ourselves credit against the best team in the division above. If woods and Watson had their shooting boots on...... Not missed Morgan - Bainbridge’s best performance this season Agree with all that, apart from the result well ...

Re: Match Thread - Southport V Big Professional Torquay

Woods is giving them a runaround should have equalised at the end some good crosses going in.
I thought the ball went under McMillan for the goal.

Re: Southport v Torquay FA Trophy

Any way can the pitch take all the rain.?
If so we could win we tend to do better in adverse conditions at home.

Re: Southport v Torquay FA Trophy

Matters of principle and personal circumstances aside Southport FC stands to benefit from this game financially due to Torquay fans putting more money into the pot. Despite having a population 25percent less than ours, It’s fan base is one and a half times greater than ours. So on that basis I thank...

Re: Match Thread Halifax Town v Southport - FA Trophy

Should be a big gate for that one !
I hope I can manage to sign in for that.
What a great away win against a higher league oponent
I hope some of the regular doom merchants come on and praise them.

Re: Carry on football!

Corruption This is all getting a bit heavy. I preferred the nonsense myself. Back on topic... can anyone else see a slight resemblance between Arsene Wenger and Kenneth Williams? Carry On Up The Arsenal would be a surefire hit, and a bit of healthy competition for that Spurs documentary - Bernard B...

Re: Favourite kits

I think John Armstrong was a second Keeper to Brian Reeves , he was a good keeper and coach he used to train my District League team Mornington Road on Princes Park.
He was a great bloke.

Re: Match Thread - Southport V Curzon Ashton

Changing the subject....I thought that Dan strayed over the line a few times when making his kicks. Dan strays over the line too many times , the touch line and the opposition dead ball line. His best pass today was a great throw to the half way line setting up an attack. He should do it more often...

I would think the reason he has never managed at EFL level Is that he has never had aspirations to do so. Liam is non league through and through because he knows it through and through.
