Re: Southport 0 - 1 Farsley

A nice little feature on BBC North West news too last night but I'm the sure the crowd was more than the 200 they mentioned.

Re: Southport 0 - 1 Farsley

What we need is Nolio on the PA system for 90 minutes belting out clear instructions to the players in loud schoolmasterly tones.
They would not dare disobey and victory would be assured.

Well done and thank you to everyone at SFC for getting us back in.

Re: Farsley - Wed

I get the impression the club are looking for a smaller crowd for the first 'trial run' match. Tickets have not been pushed on social media channels apart from the original post saying they were available. All feels intentionally low key. Not sure where you're looking but I've seen plenty publicity...

Re: Farsley - Wed

On the site this morning, jack carr sold out, Scarisbrick new rd end of main stand sold out, blowick end of main stand 7 tickets left and the Popular side 309 tickets available If the target is 800 and there are 316 available that doesn’t sound so good...or have I missed something? Plenty time left...

Re: Farsley - Wed

This question has probably been answered so pardon me if I’m repeating things. Maximum capacity is 800 fans is this only for members/season ticket holders? Will their be any opportunities in the near future for pay on the day/purchase online tickets at any point or is this not being permitted this ...

It's limited to 800 maximum on Wednesday.
35 looking in over the fence?!
Well maybe so, but if some ST or Members can't come then inside the ground will be less than 800.

Perhaps we will get the local Liverpool/ Everton etc fans coming.
Hopefully not in sufficient numbers to exclude some of our own fans due to limited capacity.

Re: Farsley - Wed

Many won't be able to come, others may feels it's too risky. Midweek games haven't been well attended for a long time. Not the most attractive of opposition. UEFA games on TV. It's not going to be the usual Haig Avenue experience that we may have missed. That said others will be itching to get back....

Re: Fans at Sporting events. Up to 2000 in Tier 2

For example what if your club is in a Tier 1 but your a season ticket holder but live in a Tier 3 then surely the club are going to have to contact that person to tell them they cannot attend and vice versa. If you're in a tier 3 you can't travel. It shouldn't need a football club to contact people...

Re: Bradford (Park Avenue) 0-2 Southport - Match Thread

I’m not too impressed by this ‘young team’ argument, which is always used to suggest things will come to fruition next season, or the season after. Especially when it's now a rarity for players to be here that long. If you're having to sign half a squad every summer then a successful season is reli...
