Re: FT: Guiseley 4 - 2 Southport

Hanford Challoner Ali Anson Doyle Woods/Watson Morgan Antwi Vassallo Newell Archer This is a decent team in this league that can play on the front foot and create chances. This season seems to have been built on the assumption that Charlie Oliver could be our playmaker from behind the centre halves....

2 more Away draws in the FA Trophy.

They're not even trying to hide the CONSPIRACY against us now.

Very sad to hear.
Not sure I would have hung around for the game.
Shows how much he cares.

Re: Farsley - Wed

I’d expect around 400 for an evening game 6-700 for a Saturday game. It’s going to be difficult for fans outside Southport. I can’t see myself being able to do it for a while but we’ll see. Will streaming continue? It’s presumably not just down to the club but the NL will also have a view. And then...

As I, and I am sure a few others live in Tier 3 I guess I won't be allowed to attend?

They can't really distribute them until the tiers are announced.

Re: FT: Telford 1 - 1 Southport - Match Thread

Would have been happy for a point before the game and was encouraged by the performance but...... I presume Newell was not fit otherwise he would have been the ideal replacement when we were on top. I'm sure he would have poked home one of those Long Throws or corners home, which did cause chaos. Th...

Re: Kettering 0-1 Southport - Match Thread

Funnily enough I thought it was Morgan's worst performance of the season.
Though this was probably down to the Pitch. Showed his class with the Goal though.

He has been the outstanding player in pretty much every other game.

Re: Rumours on jack

If true, then I don't bare any grudges towards Jack.
Been a good player for us and has done more than most, even at difficult times, to represent the Club in the very best way within the Community.

Good luck Jack. (Except when you play against us!)

Re: Southport 1-1 South Shields - Match Thread

Bit surprised at how down people are on the Team. We outplayed South Shields, who I suspect have a much larger wage budget than us, for long periods and they only scored due to a terrible error by the Linesman. There are more options in the squad this season and maybe a player here or there could ha...

Re: Southport 1-1 South Shields - Match Thread

Generally an encouraging performance.
Should have had it tied up in the first half.

Can tell we are a few games behind them fitness wise.

Is it just me or was their goal not 2 yards offside?

Don't forget to try and donate the money you would have spent getting to the Ground and at the Ground last night.

Re: Southport V Hereford - Match Thread

I agree with most that we looked better with 3 in the middle and we took control from that point. From what I saw we didn't really get going in the 1st half though I can't remember us playing particularly well with a strong wind blowing towards the Blowick End many times in 30+ years. As for having ...

Re: FT: Southport 2-1 Morpeth Match Thread

I watched via the web browser on a smart TV and it worked pretty much perfectly. Great coverage. SSE - NLN teams are allowed to wear squad numbers this year. I guess they may get names on the shirt. Good second half performance in what looked like awful conditions. Don't forget Morpeth have already ...

How about if you're not sure about going to the Bar to watch the game you watch the stream at home and make a donation to the Club in any way you choose (Buy some Merch or Donate to the Floodlight thing for example) with the money you may have spent to get to the Ground and in the Ground itself. Good Luck to him. His form was up and down for us. Always be fondly remembered for the goal at Tranmere.

Interesting he has signed for Chester seeing as their fans were all lined up to say how crap he was when he signed for us.
