3 wins not 2.
sorry Ralphy, thought that this put us into the last eight?
just looked online and there are only four ties listed that I could see.
I thought the semis would be one leg given the circumstances.

Welcome win and clean sheet, hopefully that will ease a little self belief back into the players.
Earns them a lovely trip to Spennymoor on Saturday.
Well done Port.

Re: Southport 1 - 1 Alfreton

In his interview he made the point that his side were young & inexperienced, which is undeniable however if the slide continues the club will be playing with Marine & co, which would be a disaster which we would likely never recover. It could be that that is the plan in the long term, to re...

Re: Southport 1 - 1 Alfreton

Really pleased we salvaged a point, well taken equaliser from Jordan, but four goals in seven home games tells its own story. Time for Liam and JMac to have a rethink, how many times do we see Morgs and Russell fending off two or three opponents trying to get on the ball? I'm no tactician as the fol...

Re: Southport 0 - 1 Farsley

Think people are getting too downbeat about the side and management.
We're still comfortably top half with a good young squad.
Two defeats on the spin isn't a crisis in my book.
A win tomorrow and the picture changes again.
Gwan the Port.

Re: Southport 0 - 1 Farsley

I mustn’t be so negative. Congratulations to James and staff for getting the fans back in so quickly, a terrific achievement. And the stream was great tonight. Just so depressing that the players aren’t up to this league. I can just about tolerate well-resourced clubs like York and Boston turning u...

Disappointing again, one early mistake by Dan cost us dear.
Had chances, but didn't take them.
Felt sorry for Carver, worked his socks off all night.

Re: Gateshead V Southport - Match Thread

Agree with Falkland Yellow, apart from 15 minutes of disintegration after the break, we were pretty much toe to toe with Gateshead throughout. Was pleasing to see us keep plugging away and get on the scoresheet. Shocking penalty decisions too, theirs and the one we didn't get. Hope we can dose Alfre...

Re: Bradford (Park Avenue) 0-2 Southport - Match Thread

Best possible response from the players after last week's disappointments, three points, clean sheet and great for Connor to get (I think) his first senior goal. Jordan on the mark again, two in three for him. Encouraging result, hope they can keep it going on Saturday.

Re: Bradford (Park Avenue) v Southport - Match Thread

There's a message on the BPA website saying they aren't able to stream due to technical issues and that the game is being put up on Facebook live.
Which is great if you're on Facebook I'm sure.
Apologies offered to all who have paid.
