Appalling commentary and it’s out of sync with the picture (or they are clairvoyant).

Re: Kettering v Southport

I’m online at last, but just to see a poppy rotating, then surprised to see we were ahead.
Now its half time and we have a couple of halfwits waffling.

I think we must be true supporters (or daft) to pay for this.

Re: Meeting 31/10/2020 - Responses to questions

Well, I appreciate the efforts of all concerned in submitting and answering the questions, but with regard to question 1, IK has completely missed or avoided the point. As for the AGM, it’s not supposed to be directly for the benefit of the company but for the benefit of the shareholders and to cont...

Re: Southport 0-1 Boston - Match Thread

Men against boys I'm afraid. They never looked in danger. I will be very surprised if they are not in the top 3 at the end of the season. Just shows what a long way we have to go if we are going to be serious promotion contenders. They managed the game brilliantly. I agree with most of what you say...

It’s about visiting the hospital, not the imaging room.

I agree about the pub.

Re: Port Chat meeting with SFC

Here's one: Before the season started, the club asked supporters to 'sponsor a player'. Many of us responded positively. After sponsorships were sold, they then referred to it as sponsoring the player's home shirt, and sought sponsors for the away shirt. I'm all for the club raising as much as possi...

Re: Blyth Spartans 0-3 Southport - Match Thread

I went to the old stadium (it really was grotty) just before they moved to a super new stadium nearby. I remember stopping at the site to have a look, and it was impressive. I think that they were sponsored by a brewery that got into difficulties and pulled out and the club folded.

Re: Blyth Spartans 0-3 Southport - Match Thread

It took about 10 attempts to register but I eventually managed. Having a player commentator worked well. He had some good insights into the play. Last few minutes was fuzzy. Water on the lens? Excellent three points. I thought the front three didnt quite work. I was happier with Doyle on the pitch. ...

Re: National League Finding

I guess it’s all about fixed and variable costs, rather than potential income. - or should be. I've just seen Chester's manager on the BBC news. They are bleating about not getting enough. The distribution algorithm is difficult to envisage. Should those who normally have more money than the others ...

Re: News of Former Players - it's back!

He had an eye injury that required surgery - we haven't been told any more.

He played for a few minutes against Bamber Bridge in the pre-season. If he'd had his surgery this would have been unusually soon.

Thats all I know.
