Re: Southport 0-1 Morpeth Match Thread

The Match It is very bitty, we lack flow. Morpeth are throwing themselves about and hitting on the counter. Some robust challenges floating around... The wind the most consistent player out there. The Stream Largely good, a few moments of buffering (one just after the penalty save) but mostly very s...

Re: Southport V Morpeth Match Thread

It's not an easy thing the club and the media team are doing - do bear with them. I can testify first hand it's genuinely terrifying trying to launch something digitally at the club and waiting for the feedback. I thought it was pretty good for a first attempt, just a bit too quiet. But the audio a...

What are the rules re: licensing? We sell alcohol inside the ground so how would this be different?
We can't admit people into the ground.
Not even if we do it in a very specific and limited way?
We can't show home games in the bar, but we can stream away fixtures. I give up.

Re: Live Streams

The codes for access are not transferable according to the statement on the club site but not sure unless IP restricted how that is policed or restricted. Same household i take your point without any whoppedoing and no mixed households and socially distanced of course. I presumed that was less a te...

Re: So. What happens next?

It's a ridiculous situation but if there's interest could we look at increasing the number of people that can watch the live stream within the ground? Large outdoor screen(s) behind the Jack Carr stand perhaps? Would still be in breach of the rules. The fact people can go to the Grandstand Bar will...

I'd buy say a half-season streaming season ticket for sure if the club offered one (even if only home fixtures)

Pat Nevin also came across poorly. James I thought did a very good job.

Re: What Is Southport Conservative MP Doing About This Issue ?

Given this is a Governmental/FA based problem, which the club are (based on the communications they put out) doing everything they can with the cards they have been dealt; I'm not sure what you would expect TiY to do?

Live Streams

I thought the interview today (and last weeks) with James T were excellent. He comes across excellently and importantlt honestly; which at this time is very important in my mind.

Just one question, if they happen, will the Live Streams be available to buy for fans without season tickets/memberships?

There are ongoing discussions if crowds can watch the FA Cup qualifying matches, but not the league. If that’s the case then presumably they’ve got scientific evidence that COVID is spread easier at non FA cup games  that would be incredulous It may be a panicky fear 30 odd teams forfeit the...
