Re: AFC Fylde - hypocrits

Especially since Fylde would only be getting around 1,100 - 1,300 at this level anyway, it's not like they have been particularly hard done by.

Re: Rumours on jack

If there was ever an example of a mutually beneficial deal it is this one.

Jack was a great ambassador and seemed like good lad, but for me he would be third choice central striker behind Carver and Newell. He has his strengths and limitations, but I wish him all the best.

Re: Southport V Chorley - Match Thread

Chorley appear to squad names n shirts - always been an annoying feature of playing in NLN but Chorley seem to have overcome that - could we ? York City have put on twitter that they are also adding names to shirts. Had been impossible in previous seasons as there were no fixed squad numbers at thi...

Re: Southport 1-0 Chorley - Match Thread

Good game that. It ebbed and flowed, both teams took turns to be the more dominant while trying to get around an incredibly fussy referee. A draw would have been fair, Chorley hit the bar and missed a sitter, while we missed a one-on-one and Sampson and Newell both fluffed free headers. Morgan stood...

Re: Southport 1-1 South Shields - Match Thread

My picture started to break up whenever the camera moved. Is the problem at my end or theirs? Once again abysmal cheap camcorder footage shot at distance with no variation or imagination and blurred images. As for benching the two most productive strikers ....... I assume you are being a wazzock in...

Re: Southport 1-1 South Shields - Match Thread

Didn't watch tonight but from all accounts it should have been game over at half time. At least we are creating chances which is an improvement on last season. Lack of goals still worries me. I am not saying it's all his fault and he has some strengths, but Sampson doesn't score enough goals and per...

Re: Go to the cinema!

As others have said, even a lockdown tighter than a pair of cycling shorts only delays the problem. When restrictions are lifted the virus spreads again. Ultimately, to reduce thousands of articles, hundreds of thousands of posts and millions of conversations down to one succint point; Covid is not...

Re: Go to the cinema!

That’s the trouble, SSE, lots of people take a different view, but most know little or nothing about epidemiology and are concerned with their personal situation and or economics rather than controlling the disease. You are right that the disease won’t go away - at least not until there is a vaccin...

Re: Southport V Hereford - Match Thread

I appreciate the move to Youtube at HT, yes those like me who paid could whinge about freeloaders but anyone who sat through that second half deserves it in my opinion. On the pitch I was disappointed, make no mistake this was two points dropped as Hereford had absolutely nothing up front and could ...

Re: Southport V Hereford - Match Thread

My stream picked up from about the 25 minute mark. That half was fifty percent buffer and fifty percent waiting for Hereford players to take a set piece, jesus christ it's like warching us.

Re: Southport V Hereford - Match Thread

I mean I’m not too bothered as I’m a season ticket holder but imagine if you’d forked out £10 for this as a one off. You’d be well annoyed. I hope any home supporters are not too annoyed and can see the bigger picture. I won't be asking for my tenner back, I just won't buy another game. Fair few He...

Re: Southport V Hereford - Match Thread

Same script here, irony is the first ten minutes before kick off were seamless and it all went wrong when the whistle blew.

I did see Sammo hit the bar I think.

Re: Live Streams

Couldn't watch on Saturday, but I'll be trying this out tomorrow for myself. Am I right in saying the camera is located in the Main Stand? Minor point and it might depend on power sources, but I think the 'product' would look better from the other side. Watching with the grandstand as the backdrop s...

Re: So. What happens next?

The most important part was the very beginning, where James stated his belief that a support package was on its way, either through a payment or a government committment to underwriting any losses incurred. Not getting ahead of ourselves until the money is in the bank but it would solve two problems...
