I can't imagine anywhere will get Tier 1 straight from lockdown. I also think if Merseyside is put back into tier 3 after the way the stats have gone down there would be full scale riots so surely tier 2 is the only way.

Anyone had their physical season tickets or memberships yet? I've not received anything and clearly we'll need something if the ground is reopened to us on matchdays.

They can't really distribute them until the tiers are announced.Liamisdoingagreatjob wrote: ↑Thu Nov 26, 2020 7:39 am Anyone had their physical season tickets or memberships yet? I've not received anything and clearly we'll need something if the ground is reopened to us on matchdays.

I'm sure they advertised them as being available from the club shop. However, no league game at home until boxing day, so no rush.Liamisdoingagreatjob wrote: ↑Thu Nov 26, 2020 7:39 am Anyone had their physical season tickets or memberships yet? As I, and I am sure a few others live in Tier 3 I guess I won't be allowed to attend?

I still think it's unfair that we can have 2,000 fans in but Chorley down the road can't have any. But hey, life's unfair, I shan't be moaning if the league agrees to this.

Not technically correct - it is min 2k, or 50% capacity or ground safety authority level for social distancing.Port on the Kent wrote: ↑Thu Nov 26, 2020 12:32 pm I still think it's unfair that we can have 2,000 fans in but Chorley down the road can't have any. I think we are just around the 1k Mark

Please can you point me to some evidence which shows "ground safety authority level for social distancing" as a requirement; all articles I have read do not include that caveat.Paulisi wrote: ↑Thu Nov 26, 2020 12:37 pmNot technically correct - it is min 2k, or 50% capacity or ground safety authority level for social distancing.Port on the Kent wrote: ↑Thu Nov 26, 2020 12:32 pm I still think it's unfair that we can have 2,000 fans in but Chorley down the road can't have any. "Subject to social contact rules". You can only have the max of 2000 if the ground setup allows for the required distance to be maintained. As Paulisi said James has previously said our ground allows for somewhere around the 1k mark.Sam wrote: ↑Thu Nov 26, 2020 12:51 pmIt's 2,000 or 50% of capacity.Paulisi wrote: ↑Thu Nov 26, 2020 12:37 pmNot technically correct - it is min 2k, or 50% capacity or ground safety authority level for social distancing.Port on the Kent wrote: ↑Thu Nov 26, 2020 12:32 pm I still think it's unfair that we can have 2,000 fans in but Chorley down the road can't have any. The Sports Ground Safety Authority have added an extra caveat to the number of fans who can attend games.
The number of fans allowed can't exceed 'the socially distanced capacity of the ground'.
The guide to calculating that capacity can be read here:

There are two issues that the club needs to bear in mind:
We will have quite a few spectators living in tier 3 locations who cannot attend, so streaming should continue (the club is on the border of tier 3 regions)
Can volunteers in tier 3 help out or not?

I’d assume not as the advice is ‘people are advised not to travel to and from tier three areas’
