Fylde trailing Spennymoor thanks to a penalty as half time approaches.

Goal of the season from Carver with a sensational overhead kick from Doyle’s cross

Chorley almost equalise on half time as Blakeman’s free kick hits underside of bar and bounces out

Decent game so far

Desperate times for Fylde ..bring on Jack Sampson after 70 mins. Still 1-0 Spenny.

Great result, same again on saturday and our seadon will be properly up and running.
I wonder what the perpetual moaners and doom & gloom merchants will have to say.
Can't wait to see the highlights.

Well deserved wi . Had some good chances to win by more. The woodwork helped us out as well but we certainly more than matched Chorley. First win of the season and certainly see no reason why we can't get our second on Saturday. Tbat will really be a confidence builder on top of tonight. Well done to all tonight. Carver's goal must be goal of the round, if not goal of the competition!!!!

Great result, a clean sheet and some prize money. Happy days. Decent gate too, over 750 acc to SFC Twitter.

Hope Liam and the players can enjoy the victory, bit of sugar after six weeks hard work, and now they have to go out and
do it again on Saturday, only better.

Hats off too to Marcus Carver, six goals in eight games is a fantastic strike rate, look forward to seeing his winner on the highlights.

UTP.
