First time I've seen us this season and what a pleasant suprise in that we have such an attacking formation.
It looks like Liam is building a squad with depth in all areas, which we haven't had in the past.
I thought the back three of Ali, Oliver and Anson were excellent.
We have cover on the left now with Vassallo and four decent towards assuming "trialist" signs.
As for the two other trialists - the centre midfielder was tidy, the right wing back struggled.

Two crackers from Carver and Newell.

Reasonably well organised and I would have concerns over social distancing at a small ground like cantilever park if they increased the capacity beyond 600.

Perhaps not as fluid a performance as against Marine last week but that could have been down to the opponent being better and slightly different team selection. We still won by the same four goals though! The goals were all different and it’s welcome that we’ve got them in us both in the starting line up and coming off the bench. Very encouraging.

Really enjoyed watching a ‘live’ game for the first time in six months. It looks like Liam has put a half decent team together.
Warrington Town officials deserve a mention for their efforts to keep us safe, hand sanitizer around the ground and seating spaced out. Unfortunately, a lot of the Warrington fans, particularly the younger ones didn’t seem to have much idea of social distancing, leaving five minutes early it was impossible to avoid walking through large groups who where all standing shoulder to shoulder.

My first game last night,we are beginning to look like something of a decent team. Two great goals from George newell and Marcus carver let's hope we can turn the magic on when the season does eventually start we look pretty solid at the back not conceeding many goals let's get to more player the get with settling a the squad down so we're prepared for the big kick off

Next exciting instalments on sale via SFC website.....

Nantwich & bamber bridge.

And judging by the performances at marine & Warrington it really is pretty good stuff to watch, especially as far as pre season friendlies go...

results have been encouraging, but pre season friendlies are completely meaningless.
Remember we lost pretty much all the half dozen friendlies prior to 09/10 and then won the league.

I agree that friendly results are not important, but people have been commenting on the style of play etc rather than the results per se.
