Re: News of Former Players - it's back!
Raul Correia (Bala) and Steven Hewitt (Aberystwyth) both just played in a live game on S4C. Both scored and Bala won 5-2. The commentators weren’t too impressed with Correia saying he never seems to be in the right position, doesn’t look like scoring but is good at winning corners! Late on Raul did get into the right position though and scored well with a near post header. Hewitt scored from a penalty and was typically neat in midfield.

Well,that's a warning for next Tuesday night if ever there was one...Jonny Smith wrote: ↑Sat Oct 10, 2020 7:00 pm Jason Gilchrist scores hat trick today for our opponents on Tuesday
You can't help but feel for all involved at SFC at present-owners,management,players,volunteers whoever....You prepare all week for a game and then have it called off at the last minute.Not good, and teams who have played a few games must have an advantage over the ones just setting out and still finding their feet? The National North league (as SSE said ) could become a farce if the stop start with games off periodically continues.The ones who play will always have an advantage over the ones playing catch up and make the league a total nonsense.

Scott Brown issued marching orders..straight red.
Warrington Town FC
@theyellows
Load of handbags in front of the stand after Brown and Warren come together in a tough 50/50 challenge, Warren then hovers over Brown who remained on the floor. Virtually every player then gets involved in the argy bargy. (1-1)

To be fair - I could get a game in that league. I'd even save the team travel expenses by using me bus pass almost to ChesterSteH90 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 10, 2020 7:09 pm Raul Correia (Bala) and Steven Hewitt (Aberystwyth) both just played in a live game on S4C. He had an eye injury that required surgery - we haven't been told any more.
He played for a few minutes against Bamber Bridge in the pre-season. If he'd had his surgery this would have been unusually soon.
Thats all I know.
