I remember him too. I remembered him as earlier than you, but we were both right - 1959-64 apparently. A wing half - who talked about midfielders in those days?
I don’t suppose he’s any relation to Paul.

I think that he was left half, number 6. Yes, there were no midfielders in those days; no strikers only centre forwards, no centre backs only centre-halfs....etc

Andrai Jones re-signs for Guiseley- not such a coup for them I wouldn't imagine based off his pre-season form with us.

The mercurial Dion scores twice for Accrington and Devarn makes a late entry to help resurgent Scunthorpe to another win.

Accrington are in the playoff positions and Dion has 7 league goals so far.
I hope we have a good sell on clause...

We're delighted to announced a number of new members of the Former Players Association

Dave Thompson - 106 appearances (including a Wembley appearance), 8 goals.
Daniel Thompson (Dave's son) who was a regular in the reserves and made 1 first team appearance.
Neil Grayston - 154 appearances, 4 goals
David Lynch - 42 appearances
Chris Holland - 64 appearances, 2 goals

Were also hoping to announce another addition in the next few days.

We are devastated to learn of the passing earlier today of Eddie Moss aged 81.
Eddie and his family have been big supporters of the Former Players Association since it's inception.
Eddie joined Southport from Liverpool in June 1959 and played 56 games, scoring 16 goals, in a two year spell with the club.
Our thoughts are with his wife Glenys and daughter Vickie as this difficult time.

A full tribute will be posted on the FPA website within the next 24hrs.
