This is what you put in Google to get it: southport vs morpeth youtube
Both Watson and Newell took their goals well. Newell especially to check his run to stay onside.

Nice to see Ali barking orders from defence and even after scoring not settling and accepting but telling players further up the pitch what he needs from them.

Crazy that playing football against each other doesn't class as 'close contact'.

Going down to Haig Ave tomorrow night if anybody else fancies a game of 500-a-side?

So games could potentially be postponed all over the place as individuals inevitably pick up the virus. Fingers crossed the season doesn’t descend into farce!
BTW best of luck to the player concerned. Fortunately fit young footballers are unlikely to suffer too badly.
You just have to look at the north west counties league fixtures to see the challenges that COVID restrictions are creating for any chance of a regular fixture list....

You have to suggest the player was irresponsible for turning up.
If he had results on Mon, he must have had a test on Sunday. He must have requested a test on Saturday, so he showed symptoms on the day of the game.
The team travelled by coach and now everyone on the coach has to self isolate.

Or his parent/partner/child/flatmate/workmate became ill after he had left so he learned post-match? There are lots of variables and it would be unfair to cast wild and idol speculation around.
