Big bonus to have George up and running again.
Also good to see him get stuck in during the few minutes he was on.

A match fit George could be a significant asset in the second half of the season

George needs game time and will struggle to get any with Carver, Archer and Watson all fit and in good form.

Having said that he will have to come off the bench for Marine if Cummins and Kengni are fit and may get 10-15 minute cameos to start with.

I'm surprised it is until mid Jan as I thought he would have been a nailed on start against Charnock Richard.

Not a great game but he looked the best player on the pitch in terms of skill level

Would love to see Marine back in the NPL Premier.

Then again, would be nice if Burscough weren't back in the North West Counties too.

We’d love to be back in the NPL Premier, but there’s a long way to go.

There’s some good teams in our Division. We were totally outplayed in the first half last night, something which Warrington, Atherton , South Shields and Wrexham never managed.

Just hope the second half of the league season is as good as the first half.
